Essential Oils and Hair Growth

Hair loss is a problem that affects not just men, but also women. It can refer to general hair loss, or male pattern baldness. There are a number of causes for hair loss, including fungal infection, traumatic damage, such as by compulsive pulling (trichotillomania), as a result of radiotherapy or chemotherapy, and as a result of nutritional deficiencies such as iron deficiency.
Hair loss is a very frustrating problem. There are many potential solutions advertised, but none of them are guaranteed to work and they may contain harsh chemicals.
However, essential oils may be a natural way to encourage hair growth. Further information is provided below, along with make-at-home recipe for this purpose.
Rosemary oil has a reputation for stimulating hair growth and has been used for centuries for this purpose. The oil is thought to stimulate cell division and dilate blood vessels which in turn, stimulates hair follicles, leading to hair growth.
Lavender Essential Oil
As lavender is a natural anti-inflammatory, it is helpful for maintaining a healthy scalp. It also enhances blood circulation, which stimulates hair growth. This one is also famous for reducing stress. If you think stress is playing a part in your hair loss, you might want to try lavender!
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Hair follicles can weaken due to lack of blood circulation. Cedarwood oil stimulates blood circulation in the scalp and produces hair growth. It also has anti-fungal properties that can prevent infections that could potentially increase loss of hair.
Carrot Root Oil
High in carotenes and other antioxidants, Carrot oil is known to both stimulate and regenerate hair follicles. Retin-A, containing tretinoin - a form of vitamin A, has long been used alone or with Rogaine to support hair growth for men due to male pattern baldness. Carrot oil is actually a supercritical extract of carrot root emulsified in Jojoba oil (it is one of the few CO2 essential oils that is solid in its pure form). It may be one of the most beneficial oils for people experiencing hair loss of all types, and can also support hair growth. It`s best used diluted in one of your favorite carrier oils such as coconut or argan.

Print Books vs eBooks: Which One Is Truly Better in 2025?

Print Books vs eBooks: Which One Is Truly Better in 2025? There’s something magical about holding a real book — the smell of the pages, the sound when you flip them, and the cozy feeling it brings. But then, there’s the modern side of reading: eBooks. They’re light, portable, and fit hundreds of stories right in your pocket. So… which one is actually better? Let’s break it down in a simple, honest way — because both have their charm. 📖 Why People Still Love Print Books Nothing beats the experience of a physical book. It’s personal. You can underline your favorite lines, feel the weight of the story in your hands, and display your books proudly on a shelf. Print books are also great for disconnecting — no screen, no notifications, just you and the words. For many readers, that peace is priceless.
